I Found my Grocery Store
The DeWitt Wegman's is nice, but I've found my grocery store. The somewhat ridiculously named Price Chopper (their logo does, in fact, include an axe) is about two miles away and relatively accessible by bike. It has both kinds of cereal I eat, the yogurt I like that I haven't found anywhere else including Wegman's, and just about everything else I generally need. It's nice to know that I don't have to go three different places and/or rent a car for efficient grocery shopping. The Asian market is more or less on the way back, too.
Icing on the cake; it's across the street from a Salvation Army store. Admittedly, not a very *good* Salvation Army store, but a thrift store nonetheless. I'd forgotten that it was Halloween until I went in though; the last-minute line for costume clothing is probably the most frightening thing I'll see for the holiday. And I'm pretty ok with that.
