Posting a picture from the Don Q can't help but make me think of the nearby Forevertron, the world's largest scrap metal sculpture. I visited there a few times and have hundreds of photos that I've never gotten around to editing.
This is not from the Forevertron itself; it's one of the many pieces of machinery that litter the grounds of Delaney's Surplus, on the back of whose property the sculpture stands. I took this photo on a trip back in 2009.
I love the numerous concentric broken circles in this composition. I always look for opportunities to compose with broken circles: they feel very dynamic; I start completing them in my imagination.
Hopefully I can get to bed soon. Just a bit more reading to review....
