I haven't heard of SCA in a while. I remember seeing their flyers at the Renn Fairs we went to in the 1980s, and having mixed feelings about the whole thing. My repressed romantic side thought of it as good escapist fun, but my practical side saw it as a silly waste of time. (That was halfway through my military career, so you can guess which side won. LOL)
