The US Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that chalking the tires of parked vehicles as part of determining whether they have exceeded allowed parking times is an unconstitutional search. That's interesting. I read the decision and, though I am not a lawyer, it seems to logically follow from the established jurisprudence.
