My therapist doesn't take my insurance, so my visits are covered out of network at $40 per visit, so that's about $172 per month. Danae is graduating and will lose her insurance, so I'll need to put her on mine. That will probably be another $100 or so monthly. And her therapist doesn't take my insurance, so that will be another $172 per month for her to see the same person.
The fact that this system seems perfectly acceptable to so many people makes me angry. Another reason moving to Canada would be nice. Or, really, any developed nation other than the US.
