I agree. As I wrote in response to a comment to this on Facebook:
Maybe I just need to not think about it too much. We all want the same things anyway. But it's hard to feel like part of a movement, to feel solidarity with people who care about some of the things I care about, when their messaging doesn't make sense to me. I could write more about the way it's so hard for me to feel like a member of groups in general because of these divergent ways of thinking, but that's probably a whole 'nother topic.
