I had that problem—I'm not really faceblind but I have some short-term memory issues that mean it's awhile before names and faces stick with me. And if I have to remember two sets of names and faces, it's particularly bad. Also LARPers tend to be disproportionately hot 20-something-year-old white women and 30-40-year-old white dudes with beards, and I have an issue where if there's too much of anyone with the same skin colour or hairdo, it takes me awhile to tell them apart.

I...coped? I think maybe that was part of my social awkwardness in LARP. A lot of the time I played my characters as kind of slow (DR was the kind of world where most characters seem a bit off and damaged. DL less so, but there were fewer players so it was easier to keep track.)
