It's funny to think about the experience of people who've just always known their gender and felt connected to it, and whose gender matches their sex. It's hard for me to understand. But, as trans and other queer folks keep telling cishet folks, just because you don't understand doesn't mean it's not valid and important!
I tried my best to not let my agenderism be militant, especially when I talked with Miriam at length about my thoughts on the matter. I think I was pretty successful even if part of me felt like all this gender stuff was a huge waste of time that it didn't make sense for people to be so attached to. But I get it now, on an emotional level.
