I think I made an assumption, couched in a generality, about you that doesn't fit and I'm sorry for that.

There's a meme about how if you wonder about or question, or think actively about your gender, you're probably not cis because cis people don't tend to do that. I think that's a big overgeneralization, and that that kind of thought can definitely be part of understanding and connected to being cis.
