Here in Ontario, the provincial government's trying to make sure that people and organizations stop keeping count. The count's continued updating interferes with their official position of declaring "Victory, so get back to work on OUR terms!"

From what I understand, Saskatchewan's under the control of a government that's very much like Ontario's in terms of ideology.
