My efforts to keep looking for work, help with a certain relative's caregiving, etc., in the face of this Pandemic, and the information I've been seeing from various medical research sources on social media - including siderea, thankfully! - have left me in need of mental health supports in an escalating fashion over the last three years.
I do not think you are in "paranoia land". If you are, then you are not alone there. We all need that extra certainty, the extra supports that we had in the first two years. All of us, yourself and Miriam included in that. We also need that additional research, and as you also note, the vaccinations, the boosters and the masks as well. As many of us as can medically make use of these things should be doing so.
