I have to admit to having a dose of envy here. Two reasons: that my family didn't have a dog until just before we left Regina for Ottawa, and that there were no dog parks that I knew of back in the 1980's. The idea that there would be parkland spaces reserved for people to take their dogs to was not under consideration back then.
