For as much as I talk about trying to save money, Moira and I just bought about forty dollars worth of books from the Mundelein Goodwill. I know, we have too many books for our shelves already, but when you're on a good roll at a thrift store, it's hard to stop. Someone must have donated a nice sci-fi collection. We picked up some vintage pulp stuff, but there was still a lot left. I got a copy of Japanese for Dummies with the included CD and a copy of The Science of Harry Potter. Found a few surprises for my mom, a children's book by Lois Lowry (I loved The Giver), and a bunch more stuff that is currently escaping me. It's an addiction.
