I just got one of these from work. They were giving it away because the demo team didn't want it anymore. It looke like it may have been damaged in shipping; the case is cracked and a small bit of the back of the case has fallen off. I plugged it in at work and the display was erratically breaking up. I found that the input jacks were loose and wiggled up and down. I opened up the case and found that the screws holding the circuit board with all the input jacks on it must have loosened in the banging-around that the unit was subjected to. I tightened them up and it works just fine now.
This thing was $4,699 new. I only found one on Ebay, and it went for over $200 with what may or may not be a bad fuse. I am trying to decide whether to keep it to play with or sell it. It would be so cool to have a projector like this to do something like
cjdoyle and
jenx do and call friends over for an outdoor pot-luck and show movies on the garage door...
