This heat is kind of ridiculous. Every pieces of clothing I take off is soaked through like a used washcloth and I shudder to think of what all the sweat is doing to my hair.
I'm going to lie in bed in front of a fan now.
Still, I made some good runs on my unicycle today, and then in the backyard I worked on tennis and backcrosses with clubs. I spent a while working with one club, going back and forth with double-spin backcrosses, then tried integrating them into a running cascade and actually got a handful of successful ones. Though I usually end up dropping one club or another when I try it, those successes make it all worthwhile!
I've started practicing new tricks with my left hand first so I don't fall into the trap of not training things ambidextrously. Then, when I start on the right hand, it seems that much easier!
I also had a fun time over at Todd and Serin's place watching Clone Wars and Pawn Stars with them after playing a game of Power Grid with them and my mother at my place, followed by my parents making tasty burgers and brats.
Pretty good for a day with a high temperature of 103 degrees Fahrenheit!
