I slept a long time, and I'm not sure if my mild headache is due to oversleeping, or undersleeping. I was hoping to be up earlier than 10 to be on a more school-like schedule, but it was not to be.
Today I need to write up my field notes, study Spanish, post pictures, update my financial ledger, and keep working on old laptops. I'm also trying to find one or two other people in the local area who have time today to play two games of Settlers of Cataan with me to help my girlfriend Danae with her research project. Maybe I'll try calling Dwarf.

I was trying to help my love Danae with a research project. I and at least two other people were to play a particular board game twice; once online and once offline. We would record the chat transcripts and the conversation and she was going to analyze them.

But the interface on Brettspielwelt was so difficult that it took us over two hours to get set up and most of the way through a game of Settlers, and then it crashed on us. And then one of us had to get to bed for work the next day, so we didn't even play the second time with the real game. The frustration of the game interface and the feeling that I let her down in not completing the exercise makes me a bit stressy. But I did my best.

I do wish I could be there and give her a hug, but this weather we're having sound really awful. At least I get to see her on Friday; I miss her.

I think I'm going to organize my room some. I really am slacking on this picture stuff.
