The Final Inning. The Home Stretch. The Last Yard. (Why do we have so many sports metaphors?)
My conferences and poster presentations are done! (Except for an on-campus presentation to UW-Parkside faculty and staff on the 8th.) Now I can dig into my term projects. I'll have more to say about how that all went and what I learned from it, but that will have to be later on.
I have three ten to fifteen minute presentations, two term papers, and a senior portfolio to put together in about a week. I've never been this close to the end and had so much to do. This has also been, by far, my most distracted and disorganized semester in classes, and I feel a little bad about that. Especially in my history class, where I just haven't been as involved in readings and discussions as I should have been.
But as Lisa has said, this semester has been about other things, and that's ok. Here I am now, and the end is in sight.
