There is, to my ear at least, a certain similarity between violin, hurdy gurdy, and theramin. I don't know enough about musical theory to say what that similarity is, but it's there to me, and I find that each of those instruments puts the same sort of appealing brain-state.

I don't remember if I ever shared this here, but I really love this instrument. This woman would probably get all the cash I had on my if I heard her on the subway.
