I just saw a comment along the lines of 'All new architecture and buildings are boring. They all look the same.' Now, all of it looking the same is demonstrably false, and I don't agree with boring either. But this was specifically in the context of Kenosha. Kenosha is a small town, sure. But there must be some modern architecture that's at least a little interesting.
Since I'm going to be in town instead of taking my trip up to Duluth/Superior (I'll talk about that later), I'm going to spend a lot of time walking around Kenosha, getting to know the town a little better, and photographing. I want to see downtown and older residential districts, but I want also to see some new stuff. Do any of my readers who know Kenosha have any suggestions, new or old? What are your favorite places in Kenosha?

Well here's a thought. This will be mostly older stuff of course, but I could get out and see Kenosha's complement of NRHP listed properties.
