I was awoken this morning by a call from the school my dad works at to tell me he'd fallen and was going to the ER and could I go meet him there. I got all ready to go before I realized that my mother was home. They hadn't called her because her phone is not working at the moment. So I let her know and she's going to go meet him there, and I'll go in to work in half an hour or so.
I feel a bit odd about not going myself, but my mother really wanted to go despite having to miss work herself, and I doubt they need two people over there, and that way I can get to work at the archives. But I hope he's alright.
