Holy crap, but there's some offensive stuff in 1950s magazines. Not everything, or even a majority of things. But what's there can be pretty bad. It give me a little bit of hope that we, as a society, can manage to improve our collective understanding of human issues, however slowly.

I think I have what I need from the library. I'm going to go home to write up my little paper.
