Understanding this joke may take a bit more details about these games than makes for a good story, so you can skip over it if you'd like.
My mother, ,my brother, and myself all played a game of Dominion tonight. I brought up the possibility of doing a test game with a combined card set from Tanto Cuare and Dominion since the mechanics are so similar. I joked once again that along with being able to do things like throne room a cellar or a grand hall, I want to be able to throne room my Genevieve (who is a maid in the cutesy anime-themed Tanto Cuare game). Then my brother made a clue reference in the form of "Genevieve in the throne room", and I joked "With the rope?"
He replied, "No, with the candlestick."
"We're bad people." I said, between laughs. Maybe we should be playing Cards Against Humanity.
