I finally posted and geotagged my first batch of photos from the explorations of Pike Creek that my advisor and I did this past Summer. Many of them are rather more documentary than artistic, but there are a few that I rather like. Here, for instance, is one of our local electric trolleys!
Our streetcars are PCC model cars that originally saw service in Toronto, Ontario. Here in Kenosha, they serve primarily as a tourist attraction running in a two mile loop in downtown Kenosha. This particular section of track is near, or possibly on, what was originally Pike Creek! This revived electric streetcar system has been running since 2000, and an expansion is looking likely!
