This unusual terra cotta cornerstone caught my eye. I can't think of anything else I've seen that's quite like it.



Fenelon Place Elevator - Dubuque, Iowa

The Fenelon Place Elevator is a late 19th century funicular railroad listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is functional and open to the public.
