Do you think that Seregil throwing up on "Teaching Atlas of Thoracic Radiography" is an editorial comment?

I've made nearly $1000 from selling weeded books since I started. It wouldn't replace a regular income, but it's nothing to sneeze at. I got $200 a little while ago for Transcranial Doppler Ultrasonography, which sounds pretty cool.

Bookseller!

Any friends who have sold significant numbers of books:

I'm looking for advice from experience. If I were to try to sell a bunch of sci-fi / fantasy paperbacks, would it be better to go with Amazon? Ebay? The local used book store (Market Fresh Books)? Somewhere like Half-Price Books? I don't mind doing the packing and shipping, or waiting on things to sell, but it seems like with fees taken out, it may not be worth selling anything under a few dollars or so on Amazon or Ebay.

Hoping to Shed Some Belongings!

I have a working copy of Dark Tower (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_Tower_(game)) that I'm going to sell. My family had a copy when I was little, and I've owned this one for a few years since finding it in a thrift store. It's been really great to have a chance to play it a few times, but I don't need it and I'd like it to go to another person who'll take care of it and play with it. I'd like to get $250 for it. Please feel free to share with any potentially interested parties. I mention it here because I'm willing to ship, though it would be great to sell locally to avoid any potential problems or damage.

I am also selling a very nice queen size loft bed. I am not willing to ship it. But in case you're interested, the ad is here: http://chicago.craigslist.org/nch/fuo/5786038304.html

I'm hoping to start putting some money aside for a long bike trip next year.

Update: within half an hour, I already had my first attempted scam (of three so far) from people who clearly did not read the item description and want to send me a cashier's check and then arrange shipping. I responded with "Haha. No. Not shipping a queen size loft bed." to the first one. I'm just ignoring the rest.
