In the same speech wherein Trump stated that noise from wind turbines causes cancer, he worried aloud that "Someone’s gonna leak this whole damn speech to the media."

The speech was live on C-Span.

The role of President has been characterized as 'consoler-in-chief'; Trump is our national crazy-paranoid-uncle-in-chief. Sadly, unlike your actual conspiracy-theory-addled family member, you can't just nod, smile, and choose not to engage.

The hell of it, though, is that it just doesn't matter what he says. He's just a figurehead for conservative policy at this point. He could be a potted plant.

I can't get over how shit he is. It's like someone took the shittiest possible person and made it president. He's not even competently evil; he just word-vomits and people make inhumane policy out of it somehow.

I've had deep fundamental disagreements with politicians ideas before Trump. I even thought that some of them must be pretty awful people. But I never hated them like I hate Trump. I didn't know I could hate a politician like I hate Trump. The only good thing he could possibly do would be to kill himself in a fit of paranoia so people could start picking up the pieces of government.
