Parade this morning

We heard music and singing outside. Looking out of our bedroom window, we saw this parade of just half a dozen people or so and a couple giant camel puppets. Is there a holiday I'm not aware of?

There was a person with a banjo-like instrument, someone with cymbals, and someone playing a flute-like thing that sounded kind of Middle-Eastern for lack of a better term.

It was such a neat thing to see by surprise! I wish I knew more about what was going on.
