Bangs and Public Affirmation

A picture of me from yesterday. I really love having bangs: I feel a lot more confident with a hairstyle that looks fem and intentional. Buuuut, I think it's time to trim them!

Also, I asked at Jysk today where to pick up an online order. The woman at the front of the store told me, and then called back to say "There's a girl coming back to online order pickup: can someone meet her there?" Such unremarkable words can mean so much.

I was anxious about going out to pick stuff up, but that makes it worthwhile and more. I must be glowing right now.

You're entirely welcome. I tell things like I see them. If I saw you walking around in the mall, I'd think, "What a charming-looking young woman. I might strike up a conversation with you, maybe about the cute outfit in that store over there, or to tell you they're having a sale on weird socks in Hot Topic (I wear weird socks a lot. I have purple sparkly-metallic socks, and I wear them to inappropriate places, like the doctor's office or Home Depot.) I'm an old lady, but I'm pretty friendly and approachable, and I'm usually full of bizarre advice and random information.

More power to you, for knowing who you want to be, and becoming her.
