(no subject)

Found a Goodwill store near work today. I knew it was there, but I didn't realize it was actually a store, I thought it was just a collection center. It says 'Donation Center' on the sign and I never seemed to see many cars around it... But anyway, I drove by today and realized that, hey, there were people shopping in there. So I stopped in, briefly, (I was already late having spent an hour or so visiting [livejournal.com profile] saagaadaa and looked around. They had a nifty selection of electronics, including some 486/Pentium Classic era computers, but I spent more time in the huge book section. I picked up copies of two RPG's, fifth edition Call of Cthulhu and second editon Werewolf, for 2 bucks each. This is cool as Cthulhu is going for about 10 bucks on e-bay, which is what I plan to do with it, and I'd like a copy of Werewolf for myself anyway. My brother was disgusted. He paid considerably more for his... *grin* But to return to the subject, it's the biggest thrift store I've seen in the area, though I have yet to check out the one I've been told about by a friend of Andrea's which is up in Racine, and it's open late enough that I can hit it on my way home from work. Coolness!

Speaking of which, I created an e-bay account today. I've been in a real 'time to really get it together' mood recently and I've been wanting to do that for a while, so I did. I'll be selling a few things in the near future I think. (BTW, if anyone is interested in a barely used Fender Stratocaster that I bought 2 years ago, lemme know and you can have first crack at it before it goes up for auction...)

I had a good time with Saagaadaa today (she fed me pasta, yay!), despite the fact that I was really nervous about being there by myself since it was the first time I've done that. (Did you notice? Heh.) But that's just me. I'll get used to it. I'm better than I used to be, that's for sure. And I added an e-mail account for her on my server. It's been so long since I messed with that that it took me a lttile bit to remember how to do it.

To bed, to bed, 30 days and I see my true love again...

"If it makes you happy, why the hell are you so sad?"

Nothing much happening today it seems. But I'm heading to Chicago to see [livejournal.com profile] boixboi Friday night, so that's cool. I bought a plushie to give him while I was thrifting in Michigan with [livejournal.com profile] wooisme.

I was really missing Andrea tonight. A Sheryl Crow song came on the radio on the way to work, and I was listening to it again as I was poking at ebay stuff on the computer. "If it makes you happy, it can't be that bad. If it makes you happy, then why the hell are you so sad?" Good question, isn't it? But I'm not really sad, per se. Just very much in love, and without an outlet for my feelings at the moment.... But I'm feeling better after chatting with her on the phone. Of course I forgot about the subject I'd been intending to ask about... Oh well.
