We did nothing at work today. I mean absolutely nothing. Nada. We sat around the cafeteria for a while till Max ([livejournal.com profile] tinytroll) and I got bored enough to start wandering the plant. We walked through every area we could find, exploring parts graveyards, a cordoned off area in the middle full of old sewing machines, some kind of huge decaying heat treating machinery, and an upstairs locker room wherein I found, among other things, someones credit union debit card in an otherwise empty and unlocked locker. No, I didn't take it. We're off tomorrow, but are supposed to come back on Thursday and possibly Friday when more parts will have (in theory) come in. Boring though it may have been at times, I got to spend 8 hours wandering an industrial facility and talking gaming and I got paid for it. I won't complain. After work, he and I stopped at a going out of business hobby shop. Saw lots of interesting railfan type books including one on railroad photography that looked really cool. More than I wanted to spend right now though, even at 30% off. Dealt with my driver's license too, after dropping him off. My new one should come in the mail in a few weeks...

Andrea and I went out to the Werewolf game that Max hosts at his apartment on Monday nights. I think we both had a good time, despite the fact that I don't know the system well and didn't have a good character concept. For her part, my dear one spent the night reading and observing until the end of the session when just a few of hung around and chatted about fair and other things for a while. It was a good time. I miss gaming with my dad's group though, even if I hadn't really been playing much recently. I think that, for me, it had become more about the companionship and hanging out than the game. Then we entered the age of the rules arguments... Anyway, I may go back next Monday. We'll see if I can't induct [livejournal.com profile] wooisme into the gaming fold as well. Muhahaha!

Oh, did the trick or treat thing last night. Here goes )
