Citations and Cyclery
One paper done, one to go. I'm going to again suggest Zotero, the free citation management system, to anybody writing anything with citations. It saves me *so* much time putting together the references.
I just had Chinese buffet for lunch with my brother T. While out, I got a loose spoke on Perseverance's front wheel fixed. (My two bikes' names are Longing and Perseverance.) The mechanic noticed a spot where the tire was rolled too far into the rim when mounted. I had tried to fix it a couple times without luck, but he got it positioned correctly by pushing it obliquely against the floor. Good trick to know.
The inner tube seems to be holding air on that wheel. It was flat on Friday morning, so I looked for a leak that evening. Even applying soapy water didn't turn up anything, so I put it back on the rim and inflated it. So far it's holding air, so I don't know what's up. The last flat was back in January about 700 miles ago, so that's not too bad.
I just ordered a Moonsaddle for my bike too. I need a seat that's more comfortable on long rides. The one I have is a little too narrow, and I'm going to give a noseless saddle another try before springing for something like a Brooks. This will be funky looking!
