I got up at 4 this morning after lying down around 8:30 last night. So, I was at Woodman's around quarter to five for boxes. It was a successful haul, and I have a few dozen out in the car to fill today.
I decided to exercise on my parents' elliptical since my bike is not available today. I did an hour of that while watching a movie. I can't even remember the last time I sat and watched a movie, but it seemed better than staring at a wall. I dug into the box of DVDs I'd packed and one of the first ones I grabbed was a copy of Logan's Run. Given that I'll be in Texas in a month or so, it seemed appropriate! I'm planning to spend a few hours photographing the Fort Worth Water Gardens where some of the final scenes of the movie were shot.
It's funny how often I sit down to watch a movie that I remember from viewing as a child and realize that the main characters are real dicks. This happened with Indiana Jones, too. Still fun movies. The dialogue in Logan's Run was pretty mediocre; I'd kind of forgotten about that too. And why does everything blow up when he tells the computer that there's no sanctuary? *shrugs*
I ought to read the book some time. Someone told me that in the book, people had to renew at 20 and that that was changed in the movie in part to avoid having bunches of underage sex going on....

I have a cloth-sided collapsible wardrobe outside my room. A few minutes after zipping it up this morning I heard meowing that I couldn't immediately locate. Of course, it turned out that I'd zipped a cat into the wardrobe. I opened it up and she just looked up at me, nonplussed and unmoving. Cats are strange animals.
