I think I want to go to the Lake Theatre in Oak Park, Illinois. Maybe I can get Danae or Lisa to come with. It sounds like the architecture there is really exemplary of changing aesthetics in the '30s and is a near-direct response to criticism of the architecture and ideology of the movie palaces of the '20s.
I guess they show movies or something there too. *shrugs*
