I got angry during an argument about semantics related to current events and civil rights and slammed Danae's dad's car door. I'm embarrassed and disappointed in myself and sad that I may have caused hurt.

I only slept for four hours because I played Diablo with Danae until I was feeling less distressed. But hopefully today will be better anyway. I have Pepsi Max to drink.

I just hid a post describing conditions in a concentration camp at the border so that I could stop looking around for blunt objects to smash my monitor with. That would probably get me sent home.

I tolerate the intolerable. In the 1850s, I'd have been feeling angry about the fugitive slave acts, but felt like it was this giant problem I couldn't do anything about. If it was the 1940s, I'd have been angry about the persecution and mass murder of Jews, but felt like I was powerless to help and kept turning away. Fuck this society and fuck everyone who isn't doing anything to make changes, including me.
