This Doesn't Need to be This Hard

So maybe I *didn't* need to spent $64 to send the marriage certificate because maybe they don't need it. Except maybe they do? But maybe it needs to have an apostille? (My resonse to that, prior to asking Google, was what the hell's an apostille?) Or maybe the certification from the county clerk is enough? Maybe it doesn't need to be an original?

The person who is giving Miriam instructions on this is useless and is making me angry.

Self-portrait with Amber Earrings

Today is just making me crazy. Crazier than I normally am. I'm really looking forward to going home and napping.

I took a little break from everything to take a picture of myself. I saw myself in the bathroom mirror and, while I still feel like I have no idea how to dress sometimes, it seems to me like these earrings go really well with this shirt. I like the way I look and I want to share. I bought these earrings in Chiapas from a shop run by the women of a Zapatista caracol.
