Self-portrait with Amber Earrings

Today is just making me crazy. Crazier than I normally am. I'm really looking forward to going home and napping.

I took a little break from everything to take a picture of myself. I saw myself in the bathroom mirror and, while I still feel like I have no idea how to dress sometimes, it seems to me like these earrings go really well with this shirt. I like the way I look and I want to share. I bought these earrings in Chiapas from a shop run by the women of a Zapatista caracol.

I like amber, too. Those earrings are very pretty, and they look good on you - the color flatters your complexion. The leaf-like shape of the stones echoes the leaves in the pattern on the shirt. And they're just unexpected enough :-)

I'm lost trying to match more than pants and shirt. When I clothes shop I usually ask Debbie "which of these shirts (or pants) will go with all of my pants (or shirts)?" :-)

The earrings are cool but I would probably put them on a display shelf so as not to lose them!
