Folks talking about an upcoming convention remind of my mixed feelings about them. I loved going to them with my parents when I was small. As an adult, I really wanted to love them, and I did have some happy times at them, but I also felt a lot of anxiety about them. I was too socially anxious to do a lot of the social things people do there. Even things like talking to sellers in the vendors' room, or artists in the artists' room made me feel nervous and I tried to stay back from them so they wouldn't think I wanted to talk.

I really think it would be different now, if I'm ever able to go to one.

I got these earrings at the Value Village here and they've become one of the pairs I wear the most. Even though they have gold and copper tones, they seem to go with a lot of things.

I have not been managing my eyebrows and want to start again, when I have a little more energy.

I still love the fact that estrogen has brought out freckles on my face and arms, even though sometimes (at some angles, or in some lighting, or whenever) I feel like it makes my skin look unpleasantly mottled and blotchy. I'm probably just being overly self-critical?

Miriam and I watched the first four episodes of Xena (we got the first two seasons at a garage sale) tonight while working on things. She thought I'd like it, but wasn't sure because I can be hard to predict sometimes. I love it. It's so much fun! It's so ridiculous! When do they kiss??? (I know, it's not for a *long* time.)

I guess Kevin Sorbo is in some of it? I hope his presence is minimal, 'cause ew.
