stormdogSoma FM's "Space Station Soma" station is going to be a very close companion of mine for the next two years, I think. That and some of the hot cocoa from my care package has made this evening better as I sit and work on a writeup of a topic for my research design class.
There was an amazing sunset outside today. I stepped out to take a few photos and then walked up and down the block to get a little break from sitting. The weather is notably chilly in comparison to the past few weeks.
I found a fourteen page biographical writeup of one of the inventors I'm researching. It's in French, but Google translate gives me an idea of what it's saying. I wasn't expecting to have a lot of luck with the foreign folks, so that was a pleasant surprise.
I ordered a book from the American Association of Geographers. I think it was shipped to the wrong address. But it hasn't arrived there, and it hasn't arrived here, and I haven't heard back on my email or phone calls. I'm kind of stressy about that since I need to read some of it by Monday. SU doesn't have it, and it wouldn't show up until the 17th through ILL. I'm going to call again tomorrow and try and relax; que sera sera.
