Pictures
behind the cut.
First, the new computer setup. Ella is doing the confused head tilt here about why mommy was putting her in a chair, but she was still a very good girl and sat down when I asked. How did this dog get to be so cute? She got a treat.

Music stuff organized in the new rolling cabinet thingy.
The vacuum fluorescent display on the equalizer is *really* dim. I read a little bit about whether and how you can rejuvenate them, so I may open it up and see what I can do with it.
(There are many people with *very strong opinions* about using equalizers with a hi-fi setup, and the discussion is really interesting. Honestly, my primary use for it is as a spectrum analyzer to make listening to music a visual experience as well as an auditory one. Makes it even more immersive.)
The turntable needs attention too. It's a linear tracking unit and the sled that the tonearm moves on gets stuck occasionally. I think the rail it runs on probably has old sticky lube, so I'm going to see if I can open it up and figure out how to relube it. Hopefully someone on some audio gear forum or other will have ideas.
I should add, because I'm proud of myself for it: *every piece of gear* in this photo came from one thrift store or another. As did at *least* 150 of the CDs I have loaded in there.
