Reading Sovereign

I finished reading April Daniels' "Sovereign" to Miriam and I love it so much!

Eventually I'll write a post with a warning and spoilers, but the major villains are an Ayn Rand-style Libertarian and a TERF and I am *so here* for it.

I wish April Daniels was writing more! I would be (am I guess) such a fangirl of hers.

I've always been really anxious about meeting authors at conventions and things. I felt like I'd have no idea what to say, and that they're probably tired of meeting fans, and so on. But I'd actually feel excited to meet her and tell her how much her books have meant to me.

I think I would be a fangirl for a few seconds and then probably be able to be normal. There's something about her writing that feels approachable.
