We do have the New Democrats, which I would characterize from within our ranks as being "centre-left". Others would prefer "centre" and still others would be for "further left". And at the federal level, we do have some positive influence over the federal Liberals right now. I'm grateful for that influence, especially considering the first two years of the Pandemic and how things went on the income-support front.
None of that addresses your central concerns about the United States right now, all of which I share. The Trump years have been a horror show, still very much in progress.
