Apartment Maintenance

stormdogA maintenance person came to fix the loose kitchen faucet yesterday. He had to replace the whole tap, and now every time I use the sink I have that subtle feeling of things being just not quite right.
We'd also asked about the whole-apartment humidifier that seemed to have stopped working. I'd thought that it was having trouble keeping up with the cold weather and got a humidifer from Kijiji a while back. It's actually a whole apartment *dehumidifier*, which explains why it wasn't keeping the apartment humid. Oops! I'd looked at the humidistat dial on the wall and assumed, because you generally don't need to worry about too much humidity in Regina. We were down to 15% at times before buying our own, and that's pretty rough, especially for Miriam.
And our front door works much more smoothly now, so that's nice.
