Mar. 13th, 2003 08:06 pmMore stuff happened today than usual, which I guess isn't saying much really but still...
There was a bunch of extra stuff at work, so we diced off for it. I ended up with a Gundam model thingie for a kid I know who's a huge Gundam fan, a few old Marvel magazines for my dad to add to his huge comics collection, and a copy of Morton's List. This is a very strange and interesting game that I enjoy paging through, though I'm not sure i'd ever play it. I saw it at GenCon a few years ago where someone in a ninja suit was sneaking around the con peddling it on foot because it supposedly wasn't allowed to be sold in the con. Heh.
Had a slight accident on the way home. I was looking over my shoulder for oncoming traffic while leaving an exit ramp and bumped into the car in front of me, which I thought had already departed the area. I made a bit of a crack in it's bumper, while my car had no damage. (I drive a 1983 Oldsmobile Delta 88, with a reinforced towing frame. Very few modern cars are going to damage that boat in a little fender bender.) This kind of freaked me out for a while, since this doesn't happen to me very often. Happened once before with no damage to either car. The woman whos car it was was very nice about the whole thing. She saw my hand shaking when I was showing her my ID and things, and I think she took pity on me. I guess this should be a lesson to me. I'm doing far too much highway driving on the way to work and am picking up bad habits, like driving a bit too fast.
My DDR pads are having problems. This is frustrating as Dance Dance Revolution is my favorite, and really my only, form of exercise. It's the only one I've found that I actually like apart from bicycling, which the weather is still a little cold for. Well, I was thinking about buying a nicer pad anyway...
*update* I went downstaris to get a nail to hang my calendar and my parents were watching a reality show. I'm scared...
