I'm happy.

I was up 'till 4 talking to Andrea. Looks like I'm going to Chicago for lunch with Lander tomorrow, so I'll have to apologize if I'm a little late, but no force on earth was moving me from my chair. *sighhhh* I'm a happy doggy. And a tired one. G'night all.

I hope nobody minds if ramble about one of the best things that's ever happened to me, namely Andrea. We chatted for quite a long time last night. We have, if you will pardon the clichèd quality of the phrase, a great deal in common. I feel like nothing I can write here is quite up to describing the wonderfulness of the experience. I am truly lucky, and grateful, to have met her. It's enough to make me think about trying poetry again. Heh.

Had a pretty nice time down in Chicago today. Ate at Chipotle, a sort of fast-food Mexican place which I am told is owned by McDonald's. Odd. It was good though. Sort of like a Mexican version of Subway. Lander and I wandered around near his dorm for a while before settling on food, looking at the strangeness in the streets in relation to the upcoming St. Patrick's Day. It may not be quite the right date yet, but many are seeing that as no reason not to consume large quantities of alcohol anyway. I guess they're celebrating the fact that they get to do it again soon. *grin*

We went out and played some DDR and chatted between rounds. It was nice. The only downside to the day was that seeing one friend reminds me of someone else whom I may not get to see again for a while... *sigh* I'm tired.
