Aug. 11th, 2004 02:56 pmThe ease of the A+ and Net+ exams have left me rather unprepared for the intensity of the Microsoft classes and the MCSA cert exams. These are going to take a lot of studying. The class I'm in now is not only fairly intense, but the instructor has a different and more strict and aggressive style than any of the others I've had. He's picky about frivolent use of internet access in class so I may not be able to journal there as much as I usually do. I booted up the first practice exam for the first time today and the experience so far has been somewhat disheartening. I'm beginning to think that it's a better thing than I had thought that I'm going to have all this time to study.
In addition to exercising my brain, I've been getting a lot of cleaing done. I managed to get the whole dining room thoroughly clutter free and even vaccuumed yesterday, and the kitchen is the goal for today. In between other things I've also been washing loads of clothes, which are now all piled on the bed. I think I'll hang them up all at once at some point in the future. Even with spending days at home until I go off to school I still don't have enough time for everything. It's getting better though.
I keep thinking about the fact that I'm not working right now and feeling a touch of nervousness, but I keep reminding myself that we've thought this out and it really will work out just fine. I talked to Andrea just a few minutes ago to get information from her necessary to pay the phone bill and at the end of the call she suddenly said "Imagine me storking your hair and telling you it's all good...". She is so good for me. I think we're really both the thing that's keeping each other together through our respective craziness.
I still want to write about a few other things that I haven't gotten around to yet. Perhaps tomorrow...
