(no subject)

Finally put together a couple pictures for purposes of glasses comparison. I really like the new glasses for several reasons. Physically, Andrea says that they accent the almond shape of my eyes and make me look a little more exotic. For my part, I feel like they are better suited to my slowly changing personality. Being rimless, I can't hide behind them as much as I used to. They seem to fit the corporate evnironment I now find myself in at work (of course, the inluded picture shows my unbrushed hair after having woken up not long ago and jogged across the parking lot to the K-mart after throwing my Grateful Dead shirt on simply to avoid being bare-chested in the Detroit winter, so it may not be the best example of corporate attitude from yours truly), yet are subversively geeky. Or am I just reading too much into a simple piece of corrective eye-wear? What do you think? Do I have specs appeal now? *giggles*

I was going to do studying and catch up on bills and stuff tonight, but I got home and promptly fell asleep. Andrea came in to check on me as I was drifing off to sleep and I probably really needed it, so I'm not too unahppy about it. I realized after getting up that I left my USB drive with my spreadsheets on it at work so I can't do bills anyway. *shrugs* Oh well. Tomorrow. At least I got several months of directories with pictures like 'temppics', 'moretemppics', 'temppics to sort', and 'even more pics to sort' all straightened out.

As Andrea's been sitting across from me and working on her Ebay offerings, I've been listening to a bunch of music for the first time in a long time. Went through the '60s stuff (Strawberry Alarm Clock, The Byrds) to Frank Zappa to Buddy Holly and some other oldies, through Peter Paul and Mary... I need to listen to my music more often. Music makes me happy.
