Oct. 13th, 2005 11:37 pmWell, I got through entering two thirds of my myth, magic, and philosophy bookshelf (Andrea thinks it's rather ironic that I'm using what is probably an old bible stand for books on paganism, mythology, and world religion and philosophy), and one or two other things that were lying about, into Librarything before the wireless connection stopped working. This has put a damper on adding books for the moment since it really isn't worth it to me to drag them all the way across the upstairs for cataloguing, but you can see what I have to date here: http://www.librarything.com/profile/stormdog. I love the idea of being able to browse your friends' libraries while they look through yours.
I'll try swapping out my wireless card with another one from work tomorrow. They are old, finnicky cards and this one has intermittantly lost connectivity before. I can't wait to get started on adding books again. I know, I'm a dork. But at least I'll be an organized dork. Once I have everything in there I can start filling shelves by sorting my online collection; by tag to figure out which section they go in and sub-organize by author to know what order to put them in on the shelf. Yay!
