I stepped outside this morning with just a pair of velvet faire pare bike shorts on to take Kuma outside and was just amazed at how good the outdoors feels today. The feel of the chill air on my skin and the rough firmity of the concrete of the driveway on my bare soles really made me feel alive. I feel like there's some kind of energy in the air today. I would love nothing more than to be down at the shore of Lake Michigan this morning, unshod and skyclad, running along the shore with my dog and shouting joy over the waves....

tybis and samiitiger are coming by today. Whee! It's so good to have people over at the house. We don't do it nearly often enough.
