Stayed up too late working on a computer last night! Tired dog was dragging himself around this morning and forgot to pack his camera. In an homage to a recently released animated feature film, I will express my frustration with a hearty interjection of d'oh!

I forgot my lunch too. Fortunately I have one more bagel left at work, along with one of those micro-sized Butterfinger bars if the bagel turns out not to be enough to get to the end of the day.

Misti, I finished the ghosting of your computer and it seemed to work ok. I booted from the new drive and ran windows updates and never had a problem. I didn't run a full scan disc because that can take several hours and it's hot enough up there that I'd be worried about overheating your hard drive.

Remind me again what problems you were having so I can try to duplicate them when I get back on Monday? Hopefully I won't be able to and the new hard drive will have resolved it.

(no subject)

I just realized, as I was walking over to the server guys to ask about a DHCP problem in one of our other offices, how horrendously mismatched my clothes are.

I'm wearing the blue and white (with a tinge of green) plaid shirt that I bought for Andrea's brother's wedding when we got to the hotel and relized that the shirt I'd brought with was stained and was actually Andrea's and had bust darts.
I also have blue (that doesn't quite match the slightly greenish blue of the shirt) denim shorts, black socks, and black leather velcro-closure Doc Martens shoes. Much as Andrea makes fun of the way I dress, I usually do better than that. Oh well. In six and a half hours, it won't matter.

I got an error in our ticket tracking system that I went over to the server guys with. Looks like our primary SQL server that runs the backend is down to nine megs, yes megs of free space on it's 130 gig database partition. Hmm; you know, I think that might be a problem.
