Quick; these are going away today.

Does anyone have a use for beat up, most likely non-functional laptops, dead laptop batteries, or a monitor or two? If so, and you can come pick them up from me sometime or feel like getting together with me for hardware transfer some other way, let me know. Keep in mind that these are the laptops that I don't want, so they may not be terribly useful to other people either.

Mostly old Latitude CP models. There are a few Thinkpads, and a sony Vaio too. All in the PII/PIII range I *think*. They have been around the block and are most likely missing parts.

I may not get online tonight after all. It's just about eight and I just got upstairs. I took extra time on the way home to get some tom yum soup for Andrea from one of our favorite Thai restaurants (and some chicken pad thai for myself). We ate together and sampled each other's food (sorry about your mouth sweetie!) and then watched Babylon 5 while we ate a couple of the cookie's that Dwarf's mom sent along for us yesterday. Dwarf's mom is fantastic. As he puts it, if you ever leave her house hungry, it's nobody's fault but yours.

I still need to get caught up on bills, and enter in the expenses for my glasses, my teeth, and everything else lately. I'll see about finding my IM names and passwords while I'm doing that.

Speaking of teeth, mine are still bothering me. The new crown is on, but it's much more sensitive than the doctor seemed to expect it would be. I can't drink cool water on that side of my mouth; it hurts too much. I still feel a twinge when I bite down on it too. I'm going to call the dentist tomorrow morning and see what he thinks. I think I also need it ground down a little bit. It felt pretty good when he seated it, but during the day I found a particular movement of the jaw that makes it catch. The former wisdom tooth is doing pretty well. There's still a hole in my jaw, but I can eat without major problems on that side at least. I just have to keep cleaning out the cavity after every meal. The real annoyance is that, due to the changes in my oral topography lately, both sides of my mouth have that 'something is stuck in my teeth' feeling and I keep worrying them with my tongue even though nothing is there. Well, I got used to it last time, I'm sure I'll get there again.

It's so warm today! I really wish I'd had time to get on my bike over the last couple days, but between being busy and being sick (which I still am *sneezes*), I didn't get out. All the dust from moving old hardware around hasn't helped either. But I'm still happy about the warm weather. Even though it will be gone tomorrow, for today I get to sit in my computer room in my underpants with the window open. There's something energizing about that. *grins*

I have just printed addresses on an envelope with my computer for the first time ever. I feel god-like. I used Comic Sans Serif on the delivery address, just to spite them. *laughs manically*
